How deposits, prepayments and purchases are refunded across dining, salon, event and membership bookings at Coastal Eats AU.
Degustation deposits are fully refundable with 48 hours' notice. Inside 48 hours the deposit is retained unless the seating is resold, in which case it is refunded in full. Same-day no-shows are charged the deposit only — never the full menu price.
Salon deposits are refundable with 7 days' notice. Inside 7 days, 50% is refunded; inside 48 hours the deposit is retained. Gaming stakes themselves are never refundable once played — settlement disputes on the floor are governed by house rules and licensing law.
Event cancellations follow the contract schedule: more than 90 days, full refund less a planning fee; 30–90 days, 50%; under 30 days, the deposit is retained. Supplier costs already incurred are always itemised and passed through at cost.
Annual membership fees are refundable pro-rata within the first 60 days. After 60 days, fees are non-refundable but privileges continue to the renewal date. Ledger balances are always payable or refundable in full on closure.
Unopened cellar purchases may be returned within 30 days with receipt. Opened or consumed product, and cigars from opened humidor boxes, cannot be returned under health regulation.
Refunds return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Cash deposits are refunded by bank transfer. Ledger members receive refunds as account credit unless they request payment.
If your experience did not meet our standard, tell the captain or duty manager on the night — most matters are resolved at the table. Formal refund requests may be lodged in writing within 14 days to [email protected].
