Coastal Eats AU Pty Ltd (ABN 74 219 605 38) operates the restaurant and private gaming salon at 28 Surf Parade, Broadbeach QLD 4218. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how you can control it.
We collect information you give us directly — name, contact details, reservation preferences, dietary requirements and payment details — when you book a table, join the membership register, enter a tournament or contact the concierge.
Guests of the gaming salon are additionally asked for identification documents required under Queensland gaming legislation, and membership applicants provide references and source-of-funds declarations as required by our licence.
Reservation and contact details are used to manage your bookings, dietary profiles and service preferences. Payment information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored on our systems.
Gaming-related records are used to meet licensing, responsible-gaming and anti-money-laundering obligations under Queensland law. Marketing communications are sent only to guests who have opted in, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
The venue operates CCTV in all public areas, entrances and gaming salons for the safety of guests and staff and as required by our gaming licence. Salon areas are additionally covered by table-level recording for game integrity.
Footage is retained for 90 days unless required for an investigation, and access is restricted to security management and regulators.
Members' dining, cellar and salon activity is consolidated in a private ledger. Ledger contents are visible only to the member, the membership director and finance staff, and are used solely for billing, preference management and tier review.
Ledger history may be exported or corrected on request to the membership desk.
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with: payment processors, booking platforms, chauffeur and concierge partners fulfilling your requests, IT and security providers under contract, and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires.
Where a partner processes data outside Australia, we require contractual protections consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Personal information is held on encrypted systems with role-based access. Reservation data is retained for seven years for tax and licensing purposes; CCTV for 90 days; marketing preferences until you unsubscribe.
When retention periods expire, records are securely destroyed or de-identified.
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time. Members may also request a full export of their ledger and preference profile.
